Masterclass on Agile Methodology for Startups: How to Make Agile Work?

Aligning with the motto of Impactors Connect which helps understand, support, and connect entrepreneurs and those who champion them, Impactors Connect is hosting to connect the Changemakers in the virtual session entitled “Agile Methodology for Startups: How to Make Agile Work?” in association with Dept. of Innovation and entrepreneurship of DIU and Startup Grind Dhaka.

We are privilege to host Dr. Neil Balba, is an International IT and Engineering consultant and an educator. He is currently the Director of Center for Innovation and Development of LPU-Laguna, worked as a dean, a professor, and conducts lectures in different countries. He became the Corporate IT Director of Group of Companies and MIS Director. He is also active in different professional organizations and became the President of the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators Incorporated-National (PSITE). He also became the Regional President of PSITE-Region 4, National Board of Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines (ICPEP), a member of Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP), Board of Integrated Southern Tagalog Association of Information Technology Education (ISITE), Board of Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines (MRSP-R4) and International Association of Engineers (IAE). He is a graduate of 2 Doctorate Degrees, 4 master’s degrees, and 6 undergraduate programs focused on Engineering, Information Technology, and Management. He also received awards in different countries and in the Philippines. One of his greatest achievements as a teacher was being the recipient of the Outstanding Professor Award – Top 1 in the Philippines under COTS. He is also a holder of several professional certifications. He is currently a Technical Panel of Malaysian Scientist Technical Association and Honorary Fellowship Member of Institute for Engineering Research and Publication (IIFERP-International). He is also an International and Local Accreditor for Washington Accord (PTC), Seoul Accord (PCAB), and PACUCOA and a member of the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) of the Commission of Higher Education in the Philippines. Dr. Balba presented and published several numbers of researches locally and internationally and became keynote speakers in different conferences in different countries.

Asif Iqbal, Country Chair, and Executive Director of Impactors Connect will moderate the session. Asif Iqbal is teaching Entrepreneurship, Technopreneruship, and Marketing in the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Daffodil International University, Bangladesh which is the first of its kind in Bangladesh. He is also the National Director and International Partner of World Business Angel Investment Forum, Executive Director of Startup Huddle Dhaka and the Director of Startup Grind- U. He is also Country Director of Entrepreneurship World Cup in Bangladesh. He is also the Accredited Global Mentor for Startup by WBAF. Because of his entrepreneurial activities nationally and globally, he has received The “GEN Rookie of the Year 2019” in Global Entrepreneurship Congress- 2019 in Bahrain, “SG Rookie of the Year 2019” in SG Global Conference- 2019 in Silicon Valley and Grand Assembly Award- 2020 in the World Congress- 2020 in Istanbul, Turkey.
